Portal UOL - Article Published Yesterday.

Eu estou muito feliz com a repercussão positiva à respeito desta nova reportagem sobre mim publicada ontem pelo UOL. E aproveito para agradecer a todos do UOL pela reportagem, e pelo carinho e respeito comigo, tá bom? =) 

Essencialmente esta reportagem é importante porque mostra um pouco da luta que nós mulheres temos de travar todos os dias para sermos respeitadas enquanto profissionais e cidadãs atuantes na sociedade, e também a minha luta para ser respeitada como uma instrumentista, uma musicista, uma guitarrista séria. Porque o meu único foco é a minha música.

Eu não quero que as pessoas olhem para mim por eu ser uma mulher muçulmana que usa niqab e toca guitarra.

Eu quero que as pessoas ouçam a minha música, a música da minha banda, e a minha guitarra.

Eu realmente estudo muito, em média 6 horas por dia, todos os dias, de segunda à segunda, e eu me esforço muito para me desenvolver enquanto musicista.

Música é algo sério para mim. E é isto que importa, tá bom? =)

I'm very happy with the positive impact regarding this new article about me published yesterday by UOL. And I take this opportunity to thank all of UOL by the article, and the affection and respect with me, okay? =)

Essentially this report is important cause it shows a bit of the battle that we women have to fight every day to be respected as professionals and actants citizens in society, and also my struggle to be respected as a musician and a serious guitarist. Because my sole focus is my music.

I don't want people looking at me cause I'm a Muslim woman who wears niqab and plays guitar.

I want people hearing my music, the music of my band, and my guitar.

I really study a lot, six hours a day, every day, from Monday to Monday, and I strive hard to develop me as a musician.

Music is something serious to me. And that's what matters, okay? =)

2015 foi realmente um ano intenso, em que boas coisas aconteceram sim, mas ao mesmo tempo um ano difícil para o nosso planeta.

Mas devemos olhar para o futuro sempre com otimismo, então eu desejo que 2016 seja um ano abençoado e com muita paz e alegria para todos, tá bom? =)

2015 was a really intense year, when good things happened, yes, but at the same time a difficult year for our planet.

But we must always look to the future with optimism, so I wish that 2016 be a blessed year and with peace and happiness for everyone, okay? =)

The end of an era ...

At last: "A Arte de Paco de Lucia" =D

Eu estou muito feliz porque depois de passar muito tempo procurando, finalmente eu achei este maravilhoso e raro disco que faz parte da história da minha vida e é tão importante para mim: "A Arte de Paco de Lucia"! =) 

E agora eu estou ouvindo ele o tempo todo, para matar a saudade e para terminar com a falta que este disco me fez.

O meu pai comprou este disco em 1975, quando ele foi lançado, e eu fiquei fascinada por ele desde o início, quando eu o ouvi pela primeira vez.

É engraçado notar que este disco me tornou uma fã do Paco de Lucia desde a infância, e que muito provavelmente contribuiu para eu tocar violão e, anos depois, me levou a ficar estarrecida ao ouvir o Randy Rhoads tocar pela primeira vez, porque tem algo no estilo do Randy que me fez sentir ligação com o Paco de Lucia, e eu provavelmente nunca saberei se isto é verdade, mas o fato é que até hoje eu sinto isto, tá bom?

Este disco é sim uma coletânea. Ele foi lançado em 1975 pela gravadora Phillips, e ele fazia parte de uma excelente série intitulada "A Arte de..." da qual o meu pai comprou a maior parte dos discos, se não comprou a série toda.

Como uma coletânea, ele contém músicas de outros discos, mas tem algo nele que o diferencia. Em primeiro lugar a qualidade do álbum, duplo, com capa dupla, e completo em termos de informações. E em segundo lugar, o bom gosto na escolha das músicas, e na ordem das músicas no álbum.

Hoje em dia ele se tornou uma raridade, e eu estou muito feliz por reencontrar este disco, porque ele faz parte da minha vida, e porque Paco de Lucia é um músico que sempre vai ser fundamental para mim.

I'm very happy cause after spending so much time searching, I finally found this wonderful and rare album that is part of the story of my life and it's so important to me: "A Arte de Paco de Lucia" (The Art of Paco de Lucia)! =)

And now I'm hearing it all the time, to end the lack that I felt of this album.

My father bought this album in 1975, when he was released, and I was fascinated by him from the beginning, when I first heard.

It's funny to note that this album made me a Paco de Lucia fan since childhood, and that probably helped me play guitar and, years later, led me to be very impressed to hear Randy Rhoads playing for the first time, cause it has something in Randy's style that made me feel connection with Paco de Lucia, and I'll probably never know if this is true, but the fact is that to this day I feel it, okay?

This album is a compilation album. He was released in Brazil in 1975 by the Phillips Records, and he was part of an excellent series entitled "A Arte de..." (The Art of...) which my father bought most of the albuns, if not bought the whole series.

As a compilation album, it contains songs from other albums, but it has something that sets it apart. Firstly the quality of the album, double, and full cover in terms of information. And secondly, good taste in the choice of songs, and the order of songs on the album.

Nowadays it has become a rarity, and I'm very happy to rediscover this album cause it's part of my life, and Paco de Lucia is a musician who will always be important to me.

This is an interview and video with me wich was recorded by Portal R7, owned by TV Record, in which I talk about Randy Rhoads, Paco de Lucia, and other guitarists who influenced me, plus I play BELIEVER, CRAZY TRAIN, and make some solos.

I'm very happy for this report and it is certainly one of my favorites, regarding all matters and reports about me that have been published until now, okay? =)
