Bem, depois de muitas conversas e trocas de mensagens e pesquisas, acho que eu consegui ordenar e entender à respeito das guitarras que foram feitas para o Randy Rhoads mas, infelizmente, não chegaram a ser entregues para ele.
Tudo indica que a Jackson estava fazendo 5 guitarras para serem entregues a ele depois do fim da turnê Diary of a Madman. Então, se considerarmos as duas que já estavam com ele, teremos o número total de 7 guitarras Jackson feitas para o Randy.
Colocando em ordem estas guitarras:
And it seems that Jackson was doing five guitars to be delivered to him after the end of Diary of a Madman tour. So, if we consider the two that were already with him, we have the total number of 7 Jackson guitars that were made for Randy.
Putting these guitars in order:
#1 - Esta é a primeira das guitarras construídas para o Randy Rhoads, e também a primeira guitarra a receber a marca Jackson. A icônica branca com faixas pretas. Algumas vezes eu li em reportagens que o Randy chamava esta guitarra de "The Original Sin" mas não tenho certeza sobre isto.
#1 - This is the first of the guitars built for Randy Rhoads, and also the first guitar to receive the mark Jackson. The iconic white with black stripes. Sometimes I read reports that Randy called this guitar "The Original Sin" but not sure about this.
#2 - Seguindo a sequência, esta é a segunda guitarra, que definiu o design do modelo. A história diz que o Randy voltou da turnê do Blizzard of Ozz insatisfeito porque muitas pessoas ainda confundiam a #1 com uma Gibson Flying V, e ele queria que o modelo tivesse o seu desing mais radical e diferenciado. Não sei se o nome "Concorde" surgiu com a primeira guitarra ou a partir desta, mas permanece o fato de que a inspiração para este modelo de guitarra surgiu quando o Randy voou no Concorde da Europa para os EUA.
# 2 - Following the sequence, this is the second guitar, which defined the design of this guitar. The story says that Randy returned from tour of Blizzard of Ozz unsatisfied cause many people still identified the # 1 guitar with a Gibson Flying V, and he wanted to differentiate the model. I dont know if the name "Concorde" came up with the first guitar or from this, but the fact remains that the inspiration for this style of guitar came when Randy traveled on Concorde from Europe to USA.
Estas foram as duas Jackson que ele recebeu em vida, enquanto ele estava no meio da turnê Diary of a Madman, a Jackson estava preparando as seguintes guitarras para ele:
These were the two Jackson that he received, and while he was in the middle of Diary of a Madman tour, Jackson was preparing for him the following guitars:
#3 - Quando eu li sobre esta guitarra pela primeira vez, ela era chamada de "A Inacabada" porque permaneceu ainda sem ser concluída e guardada na Jackson de 1982 até 1998, quando aparentemente foi vendida por engano durante a NAMM daquele ano. Esta é a guitarra que estava sendo concluída quando aconteceu o acidente que vitimou o Randy, e ao que tudo indica ela permaneceu inacabada porque havia um problema nela, ela deveria ser a primeira guitarra do Randy a receber uma ponte Floyd Rose, ainda sem a parte de micro-afinação, mas aparentemente o espaçamento da ponte diferia do espaçamento da escala, então por este motivo e por conta da morte do Randy, ela permaneceu incompleta.
# 3 - When I read about this guitar for the first time, it was called "The Unfinished" because it still remained without being completed and retained in Jackson from 1982 until 1998, when he apparently was sold by mistake during NAMM that year. This is the guitar that was being completed when the accident happened that killed Randy, and it seems she remained unfinished because there was a problem, it should be the first guitar of Randy getting a Floyd Rose bridge, but apparently the spacing bridge differed from the spacing of the scale, so for this reason and because of Randy's death, she remained incomplete.
#4 - Muito provavelmente, esta é a #4, e que foi concluída depois da morte do Randy, com as peças que seriam usadas na #3, com exceção da ponte e do cordal. O paradeiro desta guitarra era desconhecido até recentemente, quando um colecionador conseguiu identificá-la no meio de sua coleção de guitarras. Uma observação interessante a se fazer é que, a partir da #3, com exceção de um modelo, todas as guitarras receberam a marcação do braço invertida, mostrando que provavelmente o Randy havia definido esta marcação como a marcação padrão do modelo, e não a marcação ao contrário como acabou acontecendo.
# 4 - Most likely, this is # 4, and was completed after the death of Randy, with the parts that would be used in # 3, except for the bridge. The whereabouts of this guitar was unknown until recently, when a collector was able to identify it in the middle of his guitar collection. An interesting observation to make is that, from # 3, with the exception of one model, all guitars were the reversed inlay , showing that probably Randy had set this as the standard for this guitar.
A partir da 4, não tenho certeza sobre a sequência e talvez ela nem exista, mas o certo é que mais 3 guitarras, que seriam a #5, #6 e a #7, estavam sendo feitas para o Randy, e foram entregues posteriormente para o Vinnie Vincent, quando ele entrou no KISS (Creatures of The Night).

From # 4, I'm not sure about the sequence and maybe she did not exist, but the fact is that most 3 guitars, that would be the # 5, # 6 and # 7, were being made for Randy, and were delivered Subsequent to Vinnie Vincent, when he joined KISS (Creatures of the Night).

Jackson Randy Rhoads Custom dourada - Esta guitarra foi usada na turnê Creatures of the Night e eu pude vê-la bem de perto no show do Kiss em São Paulo (Morumbi) em 1983, porque todos falavam sobre esta guitarra ter sido do Randy e eu fiz questão de ficar perto do palco e bem de frente para o Vinnie Vincent neste show (eu quase morri por isto, eu já era fã do Randy... =O). Digno de nota o logotipo Jackson dourado que era o primeiro logo da Jackson.
Jackson Randy Rhoads Custom Golden - This guitar was used on tour Creatures of the Night and I could see it up close in the Kiss concert in Sao Paulo (Morumbi) in 1983 cause everyone was talking about the fact that this guitar would have belonged to Randy and I made sure to stay close to the stage and right in front of Vinnie Vincent in this show (I almost died for it, I was already a fan of Randy ... = O). See the golden logo, this logo was the original Jackson.
Aparentemente o Vinnie Vincent recebeu duas destas guitarras douradas, mas uma delas pelo menos foi pintada de rosa para a turnê Lick It Up, conforme a foto abaixo:
Apparently Vinnie Vincent received two of these golden guitars , but at least one was painted pink for the Lick It Up tour, as the photo below:
Dá para ver claramente que esta guitarra recebeu uma ponte Floyd Rose anterior à micro-afinação. O Randy Rhoads não chegou a usar a micro-afinação que se popularizou logo depois da morte dele, e ele era muito sensível à desafinação que as pontes com alavanca apresentavam na época, sempre procurando soluções para este problema.
E então temos a terceira guitarra, uma Jackson branca com marcação dot inlay no braço:

Esta guitarra pode ter sido posteriormente pintada na cor preta.
Então estas seriam todas as guitarras destinadas ao Randy, as duas que ele recebeu e mais 5 guitarras que ele não chegou a receber.
So these would be all guitars made to Randy, and he received these two and another 5 guitars that he did not actually receive.

Porque isto é importante?
Bem, em primeiro lugar isto é sim muito importante para todos nós que verdadeiramente amamos o Randy Rhoads, é preciso entender que o Randy viveu em uma época de transição onde não existiam os recursos de informação e registro que existem hoje em dia, e portanto é natural que, devido ao fato de que ele morreu muito jovem, e teve apenas 2 anos de sucesso mundial (na verdade foram exatos 18 meses!!), há de fato poucos registros dele, sejam estes registros fotos, gravações, vídeos, ou qualquer outro tipo de registro. Então tudo que diz respeito ao Randy é motivo de preservação e divulgação para todas as pessoas no mundo inteiro que amam ele, e eu amo verdadeiramente o Randy, ele foi muitas coisas ao mesmo tempo para mim, não só a minha maior influência musical, mas o músico que mais toca a minha alma, independente de estilo musical, instrumento, época... talvez um "irmão mais velho" empiricamente falando que eu nunca cheguei a conhecer, um marco na minha vida, e muitas coisas mais.
Why is this important?
Well, firstly it is rather very important for all of us who truly love Randy Rhoads.
Randy lived in a time of transition where there were no resources for information and record that exist today, and so it is natural that due to the fact that he died very young, and had only two years of worldwide success (in fact were exactly 18 months!), there are indeed very few records of it, these records are photos, recordings, videos, or any other type of record. So everything about Randy is cause for preservation and dissemination to all people worldwide who love him, and I truly love Randy.
He was many things at the same time for me, not only my biggest musical influence, but the musician that most touches my soul, independent of musical style, instrument, time ... maybe a "big brother" empirically speaking I never got to meet, a milestone in my life, and much more.
Em segundo lugar, em apenas poucos anos de projeção musical, o Randy mudou novamente a cara da guitarra no mundo todo. Foi a partir dele que as misturas com música clássica se consolidaram não só no heavy metal mas na música mundial, e certamente o reconhecimento do seu valor artístico só crescerá com o passar dos anos.
De um jeito ou de outro, Randy Rhoads vive em sua música, nos relatos de quem conviveu com ele, e em nossos corações e memórias, e ele nunca será esquecido, tá bom?
