Bem, eu gosto de álbuns de bandas. Eu entendo que muitas pessoas ouvem apenas uma música nova, ou apenas um EP hoje em dia, e que bandas e músicos focam os seus lançamentos em 1 vídeo, ou uma música, ou então um single ou EP, e que a internet fez tudo precisar de mais velocidade de lançamento hoje em dia, tá bom? =) Sim sim, mas eu me permito gostar de álbuns.
Há ocasiões em que eu fico "obcecada" de certa forma por um álbum (e recentemente eu estava obcecada pelo Sgt. Pepper Lonely Heart Club Band, do The Beatles), ou então por uma banda, e eu fico ouvindo apenas aquele álbum, ou a banda em si, durante algum período.
Agora, eu estou "obcecada" pelo EDEN SEED, a minha banda e, mais especificamente, pelo AGE OF CREATION, o primeiro full length album que nós lançamos no dia 24 de abril de 2018.
Eu preciso dizer que, de fato, este é o melhor trabalho que eu já fiz até agora! Eu estou plenamente satisfeita com ele e isto é algo interessante porque é a primeira vez, na minha vida, que eu fico assim, plenamente satisfeita com um trabalho.
AGE OF CREATION é um álbum perfeito para mim! As músicas são ótimas, ecléticas e diferentes, os timbres estão perfeitos, a banda soa totalmente orgânica e natural, e de fato não há nada digital ou simulado nele, porque nós fizemos questão de gravar todos os instrumentos de forma natural e real, e o trabalho de produção foi impecável! =)
Eu acredito que esta é a primeira vez que eu consegui dar significado real à minha carreira como musicista, e também como guitarrista e compositora. E as reações ao AGE OF CREATION têm sido altamente positivas em todos os lugares do mundo! =)
Em termos de guitarra, é possível sentir as minhas inspirações fluindo através do que eu toquei neste álbum. Muitas pessoas me associam ao RANDY RHOADS e isto é verdade, e eu me sinto honrada por isso. Pessoas ouvem o AGE e dizem que sim, há ali influências fortes do RANDY. Mas não há só isto, porque eu ficaria muito preocupada se eu não tivesse personalidade própria no meu estilo de tocar guitarra. Eu nunca quis, e nunca conseguiria, ser uma cópia do RANDY, até porque ele é e sempre será O Número Um para mim, mas eu também gosto de outros guitarristas que me inspiram, e muitos deles não são guitarristas de rock, tá bom? =)
Não foi fácil fazer este álbum. Agora, com o trabalho concluído, eu me lembro de todos os momentos dedicados a este trabalho, desde quando eu comecei a compor as músicas na minha casa, muitas vezes sozinha, com a companhia apenas da Polka, a minha amada guitarra de bolinhas rosas, até os meses de gravação, os momentos de expectativa, as alegrias, conflitos, tensões, que surgiram no meio do caminho. Não foi fácil não! Tem pessoas que ainda, em pleno século XXI, conseguem pensar que músicos não trabalham. Pois eu digo que trabalhamos sim, de forma árdua e dura muitas vezes, com dedicação total em nome da arte, da música, da transcedência, sabe? Muitas vezes as pessoas estão passeando, viajando, se divertindo durante um final de semana, saindo à noite... Enquanto isto, muitos de nós músicos estão encerrados em estúdios ou em suas casas estudando, compondo, treinando, sem nem conseguir ver o céu, sabe?
Mas tudo valeu à pena! Eu estou amando ouvir o AGE OF CREATION todos os dias, e me sinto orgulhosa e realizada por isto. =)
Este é o melhor trabalho da minha banda? Este é o meu melhor trabalho? Não! Certamente não! Porque o melhor trabalho ainda não foi realizado, e eu acho que será fundamental para mim, e para o EDEN SEED, superar o AGE OF CREATION, e evoluir sempre! =)
Mas com certeza, até este momento, este é o melhor trabalho que eu já realizei, tá bom? =)
Well, I like full albums. I understand that many people only hear a new song, or just an EP nowadays, and that bands and musicians focus their releases on just one video, or a song, or a single or EP, and that the internet did everything need faster releases nowadays, okay? =) Yes yes, but I have the right to like full albums.
There are times when I become "obsessed" in some way by just an album (and recently I was obsessed with The Beatles' Sgt. Pepper Lonely Heart Club Band), or by a band, and I'm just listening to that album, or the band itself, for a while.
Now, I am "obsessed" by EDEN SEED, my band, and more specifically by AGE OF CREATION, the first full length album we released on April 24, 2018.
I need to say that, in fact, this is the best work I've done so far in my life! I am fully satisfied with it and this is something interesting because it is the first time, in my life, that I become like this, fully satisfied with a work.
AGE OF CREATION is a perfect album for me! The songs are great, eclectic and different, the timbres are perfect, the band sounds totally organic and natural, and in fact there is nothing digital or simulated in it, because we made a point of recording all the instruments in a natural and real way, and the production work was amazing! =)
I believe this is the first time that I have been able to give real meaning to my career as a musician, and also as a guitarist and composer, and the reactions to AGE OF CREATION have been highly positive in all places of the world! =)
In terms of guitar, you can feel the guitarists who inspire me flowing through what I played in this album. Many people associate me with RANDY RHOADS and this is true, and I feel honored by it. People hear AGE OF CREATION and say yes, there are strong influences from RANDY there. But there is not only that, because I would be very worried if I did not have my own personality in my guitar playing style. I never wanted to, and never could, be a copy of RANDY, because he is and always will be Number One for me, but I also like other guitar players who inspire me, and many of them are not rock guitarists, okay? =)
Making this album was not easy. Now, with the work completed, I remember all the moments dedicated to this work, from when I started to compose the songs in my house, often alone, just me and Polka, my beloved pink dots guitar, until the months of recording, the moments of anxiety, the joys, the conflicts, the tensions that have come up in the middle of the road. It was not easy! There are people who still think, in the 21st century, that musicians do not work. I tell you that we work yes, often very hard, with total dedication in the name of art, music, transcendence, you know? When people are strolling, traveling, having fun for a weekend, going out at night ... many of us musicians are closed in studios or in their homes studying, composing, training, without even being able to see the sky, you know?
But it was all worth it! I am loving listening to AGE OF CREATION every day, and I feel proud and fulfilled for it. =)
Is this the best work of my band? Is this my best work? No! Certainly not! Because the best work has not yet been done, and I think it will be fundamental for me, and for EDEN SEED, to overcome AGE OF CREATION, and always evolve along our path! =)
But I can say, with the certainty in my heart, that until now, this is the best work I've ever done, okay? =)
